Three years ago I set out on a grand adventure in the game Elite Dangerous, to fly my trusty Cobra Mk III to my home planet, Slough, whilst raising money for Special Effect. This wonderful charity brings joy and relief to people with severe physical disabilities and their whole family by helping find a way for them to play computer games despite physical restrictions. I called the event Slough Bells Ringing, and we raised over £7,000!
This year Slough Bells Ringing returns. I will be streaming daily on Twitch.tv/KateClick from 22nd December to 2nd January – 12 days of fun, games and amazing giveaways – heading off into the black to explore the Elite Dangerous galaxy.
