At a glittering ceremony themed ‘the Mad Hatter’s tea party’ last night, this blogger was honoured to be voted top blog in the individual digital and technology category in the UK Blog Awards 2015. It was a fantastic night and I met a lot of very cool people including two of my incredibly sporting fellow shortlisted tech-bloggers, James Pickett, who writes Dependent on Gadgets and Jason Slater, who came in highly commended for his blog Jason Slater Technology News.

My two favourite photos of the night were taken by Andy Kinsey, who was shortlisted in the marketing category and Chris Walkey, who was also one of the lovely sponsors that helped make it a gloriously boozy evening!
It was also a real pleasure to meet Jonathan Weinberg, who was one of the judges for my category and was there to hand over the trophy – although I think he was somewhat surprised to find I had streamed the whole thing on Periscope! Talking of which, I must thank all those of you who tuned in for the reveal as it was loads of fun having you there. And a special HUGE thanks to everyone who voted for me in the first round of the competition as without you all it just wouldn’t have happened. I am thoroughly grateful for all your support and kind words and I look forward to another year of posting awesome content for you to enjoy!
