Looking at my social media timelines this month you could be forgiven for thinking that TEDx speaking invitations are like buses… you don’t see any at all then 2 come along together! I am delighted to say though, I have been asked to speak at TEDx Salford next weekend and then TEDx Royal Holloway later in October.
I’ll be speaking on different topics at each event – in Salford about crowd funding as a way to fund creative content production in the digital age, and at Royal Holloway I’ll be tackling the issue of how I think we could encourage more girls to study STEM subjects. If you follow my work you’ll know both are subjects I am passionate about and have a lot of experience in – having crowd funded my own novel last year and also growing up as a female in a male-dominated technology world.
