Strap into your Sidewinder and get ready for a mission of epic proportions; tonight at 7pm GMT this incredibly excited gamer will be entering Elite Dangerous for the first time in live play to attempt to fly her character home to Slough. Throughout the next two weeks I’ll be broadcasting the journey most days on my Twitch Channel, with face and voice cam so I can chat with people watching the feed. I’ll also be playing exclusive clips from some of the Fantastic Book Publishing audio books and each day there will be gifts and giveaways of books, memorabilia and other goodies to those in the channel as we raise money for the awesome charity Special Effect. These guys do such amazing work I’ve linked a video below showing some of the happiness they bring to the lives of so many just this year. I really hope you can come along and have some fun, dig deep for a great cause, even if you don’t play Elite… It should be an interesting journey. Especially since the Lave Radio crew are scheming (not so secretly) to welcome Commander Angel Rose home to Slough with a ‘2100 canister dump’ salute of radio active waste… it’s a long standing joke in case you’re wondering!
