It’s been almost two years since this all began with the Kickstarter for Elite Dangerous, but now I’m delighted to announce the release date for the audiobook Elite: Mostly Harmless has been set – 30th November 2014. I’m so excited for all the generous backers of my own related Kickstarter to receive their copies. Read by me, with an awesome production job done by Chris Jarvis of Radio Theatre Workshop, and with amazing music by Allen Stroud, who is also an author of one of the Elite Dangerous fiction titles. I have posted a very short sample below to whet your appetites. Some of you will already know this, but if you’re new to the world of Elite fiction, Chris Jarvis and Allen Stroud are partly responsible for the totally fabulous Lave Radio and Chis is creator of Escape Velocity among many other wonderful projects. He is up for an award for this work at the Audio Verse Awards 2014 right now, so wish him the best of luck on Twitter if you get the chance and vote if you like his work. I bet that would make his day.
