It’s been another exciting week as I can now confirm I’ve been asked to MC an event in New York next month for Brand Perfect – who you may remember I write articles for around branding and advertising issues in the modern age?
The event is called “Adventures in… Responsive Advertising” and is tailored to brands and their digital agencies, discussing and exploring where online advertising is heading. One of the key themes for the day will be looking at how HTML5 can deliver rich, interactive experiences to audiences across the many online devices we flip between in this modern digital age. I will also be presenting findings from Brand Perfect’s latest research report, The New Dynamics of Advertising, which will contain a cross-platform guide to 100 of the US and UK’s leading consumer magazine brands.
The event is taking place at the AIGA National Design Center in New York City on May 22nd, which is somewhere I am really looking forward to visiting anyway as Monotype is working with London’s Alan Kitching, typographer, designer and letterpress practitioner, on a poster exhibit in New York kicking off at AIGA on May 1st. As a complete bonus it is also my birthday on May 22nd, and I can think of no better place to spend it!!
Hopefully I will see some of you there?
